Josh Amoroso

Josh is the co-founder of LRG Investors, LLC and Senior Partner at Lockehouse. Josh has over 20 years of commercial real estate investment, development, and asset management experience. At the helm of LRG Investors, Josh has helped to shape the strategy and thesis for over 60 projects to date. His focus on value-add investments and ground-up development span a wide range of asset types including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and storage.

Throughout his career, Josh has built and maintained a reputation of honesty and efficiency. As a senior partner at Lockehouse, Josh has a multitude of resources at his fingertips to help execute his business plan including property, asset, entitlement, and construction management services and superior tenant relationships that enable his projects to proceed with pinpoint accuracy.

Josh is a graduate of the University of Oregon and a proud Duck. He currently sits on the board of Hip Housing – a nonprofit organization providing creative affordable housing solutions for people in San Mateo County, and actively involved with the Okizu Foundation – an organization dedicated to supporting all members of families affected by childhood cancer through recreational programs. Josh’s passion for life extends from his business and charitable relationships to his devotion to family and sports. He coaches a variety of Bay Area youth teams and is an avid mountain biker and runner, previously qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

Steve Cutter

Steve, a graduate of the University of Oregon is co-founder of LRG Investors, LLC. and Principal owner/Founder of Lockehouse Retail Group, Inc. and Lockehouse Property Management Group, Inc. Lockehouse, launched in 2005 with Steve and one other person, has evolved to become a dominant retail brokerage company in the Bay Area representing companies such as Target, Trader Joes, Top Golf, along with millions of square feet of listings. Steve says “The culture of Lockehouse that we established from day 1 and the people within the organization is what makes us special. We value our clients above all else and relentlessly strive to see them succeed”.  Being nimble and entrepreneurial, the Lockehouse team has continued to broaden its services which include: Tenant Representation, Landlord Representation, Investment Sales, Property Management, Consultation, Entitlement and Construction management Services and Development Services.

Steve and the LRG team have been involved in several acquisitions and developments over his career, some noteworthy transactions include: the winning of an RFP from the University of California at Berkeley to ground lease, entitle, lease and develop University Village Shopping Center in Albany, CA (Sprouts anchored shopping center). The successful acquisition, entitlement, leasing and development of the Sprouts Farmers Market and Shops in Oakland, CA. The Oakland Sprouts was the first major retail project in Up Town and was a major catalyst for the explosion of growth in the area. The recent acquisition of the 60,000 SF Raley’s on Douglas Blvd. in Roseville, CA. The recent acquisition and successful entitlement of a 100,000 SF storage facility on I-80 in Vallejo, CA, the acquisition of the Trader Joe’s center in Lake Oswego, OR.  LRG Investors owns mixed use, office, and multifamily assets along with retail projects. 

Steve currently sits on the board of Chainlinks, the largest retail brokerage network in the country. Steve also sits on the board of The Okizu Foundation, which is a camp in the western US for children with cancer, their siblings and families. Steve resides in Bend, OR and Burlingame, CA with his wife and 2 daughters. Steve is an avid fly fisherman, mountain biker, skier/snowboarder, triathlete, Dad and Husband.

Ryan Nickelson

Ryan joined LRG Investors, LLC as a partner in August 2015. With more than 20 years in the industry, Ryan has successfully developed or redeveloped numerous shopping centers throughout the western US, totaling more than 2.5 million square feet valued at over $1 billion, including Slatten Ranch in Antioch, East Washington Place in Petaluma, Gateway 101 in East Palo Alto and North Texas Junction in Fairfield. Additionally, Ryan serves as Managing Partner of Lockehouse Retail Group, one of Northern California’s premier commercial brokerage companies, overseeing operations in the East Bay. Before joining LRG Investors Ryan was Vice President of Investments at Regency Centers managing development and acquisitions in Northern California. Ryan has served on the International Council of Shopping Centers’ Northern California Programming Committee and is active with the Urban Land Institutes Urban Plan, a high school academic program that educates students in urban development. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He lives in Danville with his wife and two sons and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family backpacking, cycling, and coaching youth sports.

Jack Steinhauer

Jack Steinhauer joined LRG Investors in 2021 as a partner representing the company in the Northwest region. He is tasked with identifying acquisition and development opportunities aligned with LRG’s growth strategy. 

Previously Jack founded Enten Development, a boutique firm focused on ground up and redevelopment opportunities with a select group of tenants.

His experience also includes 14 years at Donahue Schriber where he was responsible for sourcing and coordinating acquisitions and development for the company. Specifically assigned with entering Donahue Schriber into the high-barriers-to-entry markets of the Pacific Northwest where he acquired over a million square feet, the majority of which was completed off market and within five years. Jack also led the leasing effort for the portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. During his tenure his achievements include over a million square feet of leasing, over a billion dollars of acquisitions, and has been involved in nearly three million square feet of development on the west coast.

Prior to joining the Donahue Schriber development team, Jack served as a corporate pilot. He is still active in the air and a member of the Columbia Aviation Association. A Pacific Northwest native, he is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Jack is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and various other trade organizations. He also enjoys being an involved member of his community, serving on the boards of several youth organizations. When not in the office you can catch Jack snowboarding in the mountains or wake surfing in the rivers/lakes of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Joe Brady

Joe Brady is a US-based Commercial Real Estate expert with extensive experience in retail and office real estate.  As the former CEO-Americas of The Instant Group and former head of real estate for Walgreens, Brady has been on the forefront of accelerating technology, changing consumer behavior and real estate. 

Brady served as the CEO – Americas for The Instant Group, the global leader is agile and flexible workspace, development and consulting.  He lead the company’s growth through the COVID-19 pandemic in both North and South America, with office across the US, Canada, Mexico and Argentina.  Instant grew 4x under Brady’s leadership.

Prior to The Instant Group, Brady was the head of real estate for Walgreens, managing a vast, 150 million square foot portfolio with an annual operating budget exceeding $4 billion and annual capex budget of $1 billion. This role gave him in-depth experience in managing high-volume retail environments and implementing strategies for efficiency and growth.

Earlier in his career, Brady held senior positions at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), one of the world’s leading professional services firms specializing in real estate and investment management. He was also a founder and partner of The Standard Group, a company that was later acquired by JLL in 2008.

Brady is a Global Trustee of ICSC, member of ULI and CoreNet, guest lecturer at The University of Florida, Warrington School of Business, speaker and author.  He earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Brady is married with two adult children and lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.  Interests including almost anything outside, including fly-fishing, skiing, golf and cycling.

 

Kirk DeClark

Kirk has over 20 years of real estate finance, acquisition, asset management, and investor relations experience. He started his real estate career and spent nearly a decade originating and underwriting residential and commercial loans. Prior to joining LRG, Kirk has also been the managing member of single-family and commercial office asset investments for limited partners and high-net-worth individuals. He joined LRG Investors as the Director of Acquisitions in May 2017. Most recently, Kirk worked for the strategic communications firm Joele Frank, Wilkinson, Brimmer, Katcher where he assisted clients across industries and in a wide range of special situations including mergers & acquisitions, shareholder activism and crises, as well as provided ongoing public and investor relations support.

Kirk is an active board member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Day School, UMC Nursery School, and Hillsborough AYSO. Kirk earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of California, Davis.

Kirk resides in San Mateo, California with his children, Kolby, Kylie and Kellen. When not at the office, Kirk can be found coaching soccer, mountain biking, or skiing.

Julia Shuman

As the Chief Financial Officer for the Lockehouse & LRG Investors family, Julia brings over 10 years of accounting expertise to the team. Originally with a degree in Communication Studies from Sonoma State University, Julia went back to school in 2007 to change career paths and earn her license as a CPA. She has held multiple roles in different industries ranging from Construction to Technology as well as worked with multiple clients as an independent Accounting Consultant, focusing on streamlining protocols and organization.

Bethany Bourland

Landlords rely on me for honest advice and protection for their assets and investments. My current portfolio consists of retail and office properties located throughout the Bay Area. I’m passionate on providing excellent service to not only my clients, but to my tenants, and vendors as well.

Together I have 13 years of experience which including working for a large corporation as well as boutique management firms. My experience throughout the years has guided my own personal growth within the industry. I have learned a much deeper understanding that goes beyond the general day to day operations. Ultimately, I strive to position my clients for success, as participating in those victories offers the best reward.

Deirdre Davis

Deirdre Davis is the Director of Operations for Lockehouse and LRG Investors, bringing over 15 years of Office Operations and Managerial experience including Finance, Construction Management, and Hospitality

Prior to Lockehouse, Deirdre worked 7 years in the financial industry where she ran all aspects of operations. Her hard work, dedication, and drive earned her the recognition as the number one Operations Manager out of 300 offices.

At Lockehouse she sets her focus on establishing processes and procedures, allowing for a smooth and efficient system.

Outside of work, Deirdre remains busy with her husband, Mike, and their 6 children.
